Earthquakes shook northern Japan for the second time in two months.

My brother lives well away from the center of this one — the epicenter was about 160 miles north of Tokyo, and he lives about a half-hour’s drive south of Tokyo — so he should be okay. I’ll bet it was an interesting evening, though.

UPDATE [11:26]: Reuters is reporting that the initial tremor measured 6.8.
